On the bak of this, the company now offers a range of safety footwear which reflects the toughness, innovation and quality of its machines. JCB safety footwear is manufactured to EN ISO 20345 standard and provides 200 joules toe protection. All styles feature an antistatic, oil and slip resistant direct injected sole with a shock absorbing low density mid sole. Areas where excessive wear is expected are reinforced with advanced materials and of course, comfort and durability come as standard.

- Slip Resistence of Protective, Safety and Occupational Shoes
in the newEuropean standard, followind three slip resistance limits are difined sinse begining of 2008 and as per new standard, the footwear must fulfill one of these three requirement:
SRA: Slip resistance on floors with ceramic tiles with SLS (Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate).
SRB: Slip resistance on steel floor with glycerol.
SRC: Slip resistance on flooors with ceramic tiles with SLS and on steel floor with glycerol (SRA+SRB).
- Classification
CLASS 1: Footwear made of leather and other materials with an exception of formed in one piece or vulcanzied.
CLASS 2: Footwear formed in one piece or vulcanzied i,e. Rubber, PUR or PVC boots.
